Has anyone heard of claim and mms layoffs after end year reviews are done?
PCG
During the civil rights protests in 2020 the CEO of PCG made a self-deprecating proclamation. "I am a privileged white woman". No kidding. She seemed to think it was a moving speech that made her understand. It was quite embarrassing. I threw up in... — read more
Does it seem right that AIG lays off workers, provided NO raises to employees, but they keep expensive sports tickets?
Luxury suites, new state of the art building at Rockefeller Center in NY………
Maybe they have good intentions, but it's painful when management talks about diversity
I mean, do they see themselves in the mirror? 9 white men and 3 white women. Diverse interns? There's plenty of diversity at the lowest level. Just f-ing try to treat people equally. Who do you scapegoat and who do you find excuses for, the white... — read more
Will Staff Counsel, hearing Reps, and Service Managers handling Workers Comp also be laid off along with WC adjusters and MMS?
Since claims will be moved to Gallagher this quarter, will all of the support staff be laid off?
Layoffs After Early STI Payoff
Think of the strategy. AIG pays less than 100% STI early for the people that they will be laying off in the 1st quarter. If they had laid them off before STI, then they would have to pay at 100%, as they would owe full benefits.
Raises
Are raises given at the same time bonus’s are? I swear if they don’t give me a 10%+ raise I’m out
AIG wants to get rid of legacy employees
The object is to pressure all legacy employees to move on down the road. If you are new to aig you will do okay if you are a good worker. If you are a legacy employee with over 5 years in the company, not so much. Thanks for your 5, 10, 15 years... — read more
No US Layoffs this year
No RIFS this year. Overseas is another story.
Not even a raise would slow down the attrition
My personal opinion is that even an adequate raise would not stop people from leaving. Every week one of the colleagues goes. Others are looking for a way out. AIG needs radical changes if it intends to retain the best employees, and chance are that... — read more
Inflation: Whats Pete boy gonna do?

AIG DOES NOT promote growth
As a veteran at AIG.. let me tell you folks why you even work here. You come to AIG as either one of your early career moves (college grad trying to get some experience) or late career moves (promotional management role / leadership).. those who come... — read more

Anyone hear the date yet?
Gallagher Bassett
Not sure why GB would want AIG staff after getting forced to go GB why would they work hard or give any effort to GB, aig should just layoff staff not force to a company that can’t keep staff
WC employees: do you feel undignified, disrespected, & disgruntled? — is it time to organize???
I have been a WC employee w/ AIG for almost 2 decades. Most of my colleagues have similar tenure. Everyone I have spoken to is experiencing the same things, & we collectively continue to be abused by AIG. They continue to give us new jurisdictions... — read more
There is a sweet spot in AIG
Where you are senior enough to get blamed for anything and everything, but not senior enough to have what you say and request be taken seriously without huge amounts of effort. It’s a wonderful spot to be in.
AIG Senior Leaders Don't Care About Employees
AIG senior leaders don't care about how stressed and overworked employees are. Teams lose half of their staff and never get replacements. Do more with less. Who cares? Employees sacrifice their health and wellbeing to do a good job but leaders... — read more

Bonus / raise this year?
Do you think UW’s will get a 7%+ raise This year? What have people been getting as raises throughout the years? And also how is everyone else’s bonus? Is there anyone here getting 5 digit bonus’s? Or 10/20/30% of their salary as bonus’s? Want to know... — read more
Average here, rock star employee at competitor
My personal opinion is that AIG too easily gives up talents to competitors. I've heard of multiple cases where an employee here was very undervalued, literally invisible, and after he went to competition and to a much better company, he very... — read more
AIG is not that bad
I've been here for 7 years and I'd be lying if I said this company has not been good for me. I like what I do, I think it's meaningful work, and I am surrounded by good people. I am paid well, which also helps. I realize the situation is not the same... — read more
Layoffs to day in the Life Division

Horrendous place to work
The leadership is incompetent and driving the company to the ground. Most of the people I work with have no idea what they are doing. For some reason, management is perfectly okay with this. If you're one of the "lucky" ones who know what they're... — read more
How do you get the courage to quit?
I haven't been happy here for a long time but I'm too scared to do anything about it. I start checking out other companies and by the time I'm done, they seem worse than AIG. Is this really where we're at? No good companies left? No places where... — read more
