Just stop posting here. AIG is garbage. Has been for a long time and isn't getting better. That's really all you need to say. This web site censors many posts. It is probably in the pocket of AIG. If you stay at AIG, then shut up and take... — read more
Performance reviews and layoffs
This is the only company I know of that tries to performance people out so can fire instead of laying off. How is this okay and why is it still going on?!
Worst company in regards of employment safety
Massive layoffs. Always doing reorgs AIG is big mess. Seniors have a weird attitude here.I’m glad that I’m moving out. No growth here they don’t even increment your pay and even though you give your best , you’ll be treated as a looser. — read more
OHI survey: managers should respect employees, who knew?
Also they should ask their employees opinions before decisions that affect them..., also they should mentor and coach them ... so weird. Never thought employees should be treated like that.
MMS/claims
Not sure how reliable but told layoffs expected march
AIG RS or VALIC FA layoffs
Will there be any layoffs within the AIG Retirement Service area or the VALIC Financial Advisors/ VFA this year?

Any word on STI this year?
I know this is about layoffs, but any news on the amount? Will the senior execs Chet 200% while most of the employees will be lucky to get 100% of target?
Unbelievable again
so either schilling was dropped by mistake or aig reversed course because of dollars? in either event, all of you folks who thought aig was taking the high road were wrong again. this company will always sell out to the $$$. if you really feel... — read more

Big hit yesterday in Staff counsel - I heard more than 30 people were RIF'd. It's time to see the writing on the wall and get out! or stay for your severance but have something lined up. You can't hitch your horse to this wagon - most of the... — read more
Survey Results
Anyone who watches Lucy's survey results video knew it was a sham as soon as she said the majority of employees support executive management. What a laugher.

How do I volunteer?
Is there any way I can volunteer for the next round of layoffs? I got another job lined up in a few months - but that's not something I'd want to share, of course. If I could find a way to be laid off in the meantime, that'd be great for me... — read more
STI.......Do the right thing
New year and another $20,000,000 plus to support lifestyles of the rich and famous in Bermuda. BD is quite possibly the highest paid teleprompter reader in corporate America. After 4 unproductive years, AIG can't make a profit and the stock is still... — read more
New Year, New Rifs!
Word just came down that IT got hit hard. Almost all operations will be coming from over seas. Entire Us based teams got told they will be riffed in March. Lots of people have been here for 10+ years. AIG does not care. They do not value talent... — read more

AIG in 2021
I hope things get better. Not sure about that but I do nope. Have some rest. Merry Christmas.
2021 will be a pivotal year for AIG
Aside from the constant hype about how much progress AIG has supposedly made, the stock is still down 40% since BD took over while the overall stock market is at all time highs. A loss ratio of 107% doesn't cut it anymore. BD and PZ can blame... — read more
No safety
If the past several rounds of layoffs taught me anything, it's that nobody is safe here. I've seen some of the best employees laid off without a second thought, I've seen people who've been here for decades and those who've been here for as little as... — read more
Is the severance plan changing in 2021?
I’ve heard rumors that severance is changing in 2021 to one week per year of service or a set number of weeks but again I’m hearing via the rumor mill. Anyone on here in a position to know if the rumors are true (ie HR folks, privy to 2021 severance... — read more

This is why you feel like c-ap working here

I’m not here to break up AIG, I’m here to grow it
Remember that statement?
Peter Zaffino and Charlie Fry
What's the situation?
Question
Do you get paid for pto time if you resign?
Where is Kevin Hogan?
Wouldn't he be an important piece of the discussion given the major news? Probably out negotiating a buyer for the pieces after the break-up.
