Lots of pretenders

All these years, for as long as I've been working here, I don't think there have ever been more pretenders here than now. Maybe I'm wrong? On the one hand, there are those who are overloaded with work, have experience and are almost not valued at... — read more

Bonus next year

They are already telling us that the bonus next year will be lower because of production targets, but Apa finally is having record profits. Explain that.

Can someone tell me….

How in the world somebody with no engineering background or any sort of technical background was promoted to GM in the North Sea? How does that even make sense…

Functional idiocy coming to an end?

We are pushing functional leads out faster than our reserve base dwindles. Could we be seeing the beginning of the dismantling of the fake reorg, orchestrated to save our over-fed leaders skin, which disabled an already poorly functioning system. We... — read more

Moving offices

Wut? I heard we’re moving offices? Is it gonna be Energy corridor or higheay 8 and westheimer?

Fire them all

APA Corp has the most inept corporate leadership around. Listening to C-Man, SR and DP bumble their way through another earnings call makes me want to pu-e. Listened to PXD, DVN and others report and the difference is breathtaking. The BOD directors... — read more

CAO needs to go

It’s time to replace her. Retire or leave so we can get some needed changes. Too many clowns in management.

Sales

Wonder what we will sell next?

Some say the job market is great

If the job market was as great as some say, I guess I would have already gotten a new job. I've been looking for a new opportunity for a long time now. What are your experiences with job hunting lately?

Maybe they are bothered by the competent

Mediocrities are on the rise and people with knowledge and skills seem to have become just a nuisance to them? Some of the people who are climbing to the top here very quickly now, in the past wouldn't even be able to get a job here.

Update Class action lawsuit

“John Christmann IV, Timothy Sullivan, and Stephen Riney violated Section 10(b) of the Exchange Act by making materially false and misleading statements regarding the Alpine High play; and that Christmann IV, Sullivan, and Riney, as controlling... — read more

LTIP

This is just a speculation: do you think there is a chance that they will take LTIP? Someone mentioned the example of taking away LTIP for anyone below manager title and I sincerely hope that won't happen. I don’t believe it could happen.

No one's going to mention raises???

Came over to see the general feeling about how raises went this year. Seems like first time in a long time a real measurable change for employees comes along and I'm just surprised no one here is saying anything. Not really expecting sentiments of a... — read more

Mass Exodus in Revenue

Helloooo execs! Mass resignations in revenue accounting. Doesn’t anyone question what is happening????

Dear APA shareholders, be concerned

Former CEO of Noble Energy was elected to the APA BOD. Dare you to find a better example of poor leadership, poor decision making, and overall ineptness. Sold Noble at the bottom of the pandemic in 2020 to CVX when there was no need or driver other... — read more

Higher oil price

I really thought that the rise in oil prices would reflect on the overall atmosphere here and that it would be much better than when the price plummeted to historic lows during pandemic. But how much has the atmosphere at Apache really improved?... — read more

Layoffs

Yesterday Asset Manager was let go, two weeks ago some eng tech, any others idk?

Complaints to HR

What does HR do with employee complaints? I know a man who addressed them with a valid complaint of discrimination but it was literally just ignored.

MAGA and other small complains

When are they going to MAGA? Make Apa great again? What about offering towels at the gym? That laundry/service costs less than executive’s annual membership to the Houstonian. Or stop “making money” by selling Assets instead of optimizing them and... — read more

Distribution of work

The distribution of work is rather strange at the Apache. While some never get to relax, others do almost nothing. I have nothing against them, but I have noticed that the distribution of work has never been more unfair. By what principle are some... — read more

When will be rid of terrible managers

Does HR not care? Does the assistant controller not care? When 1 Accounting “manager” has the most people leave and everyone miserable under them. Does nobody care? You aren’t a Boss you’re just a B.

Omg the class action filing

Hahaha omg you guys need to go read this thing. It’s so terrible. MANY former employees clearly interviewed and provided details to these plaintiff attorneys. Apache is fcckkkkkeeeeddddd.

What’s next

I have been guessing a buyout or selling Legacy. assets……. Sooooooo……

Is the New goal to get everyone to quit

Sure seems like it. Putting happy people under terrible “leaders” and running off the experienced help. Just wait until massive resignations in the Spring. And no open positions? Hmmm. Sounds like brilliant planning. Smh

Job hunting

Trusting the manager

The fact that I can no longer trust my manager is terrible demotivating for me. Whenever he says something optimistic, I know it won't be like that. It is impossible to trust someone who is promising more than he can deliver. Is there anyone here who... — read more
