Most of us are overwhelmed and see no future with CVS. But better use the time you still have here to look for other opportunities. It’s still easier to find another job while still employed. Being fed up, under pressure, anxious and dissatisfied can... — read more

Recruiter feedback

I spoke to a recruiter this morning who asked what is going on at CVSH? We are getting so Many resumes from there. Is everyone unhappy? Itis hard to determine who is interested in the position vs who just wants out of a bad situation.

What Is The CVS Strategy?

If you’re a colleague and you can’t answer the question or find it, that tells you something about how this ship is rudderless. Every vision should include the what and the how and how much so employees understand what they need to do in their role... — read more

Being prepared

I wasn't able to start saving until recently. Now that my situation has improved somewhat, I'm wondering how many months worth of living expenses is considered good as a safeguard against being laid off? I'm thinking three months, since that would be... — read more

Quarterly dividends and open jobs

Looks like Quarterly dividends are still happening ($0.665 cents) per share. Also looking at open jobs there are about 13,000 openings for whole company. Not sure how they are going to save money doing both of these things.

This place is a dumpster

My manager loves using the word leader to describe himself and his fellow managers. This place is just pathetic looking id--ts keeping up each others delusions. My New Year’s resolution is to jump ships

Karen Lynch got an Honorary Doctorate in Commercial Science from the University of Hartford in 2022. The point is that Mr. Market is the Reality Check. CVS has a Board, Managers, and CEO that live in an alternative universe. Just doing deals and... — read more

Given we are past the point of no return

I can only assume that rumors about massive layoffs coming after the next earnings call are true. What else is left to do but cut and then cut some more?

Shot goals changed for 2024 on December 28, 2024!!!

Techs get a bonus based on how many shots over goal the pharmacy does. CVS shot tracker was down a couple of hours on Saturday and when it came back up, shot goals were increased for 2024, which ended on December 28, 2004, and many stores lost any... — read more

Why are threads being deleted?

More and more threads are being deleted. Someone this AM posted one about 2025 layoffs (mostly speculation but on point with no swears, etc). However, even with several comments, the thread is now removed. Why?

Don't waste your time here

The only reason I'm still holding on to this job is that I'm about to retire within a year. If you are any younger, don’t let yourself get stuck here. I've witnessed the decline of a decent company, one where you could have had a somewhat satisfying... — read more

Prediction: dividend is cut April 2nd

Why you ask? February is too soon to cut, and if they do it after the rsu vesting period, fewer shares go out. It's going to pi-s a lot of people off, but I really think this is what happens...not based on anything but a hunch.

I left and never looked back

I’m so glad I did. If you’re still at CVS, it might be time to consider finding something else. I approached it with one simple thought: can it really be worse than it already is? Once I realized that, the answer was no, it couldn’t get much worse... — read more
