Nothing but a number

After two decades, it feels like I was nothing but a number. I was always on time, going the extra mile, and never received a single complaint about my work. None of that did me any good. Here I am, jobless and frustrated. CVS, you should be ashamed... — read more

Next round of layoffs is rumored to be in December

Rough math here. They need to save 2 billion. If 2900 people were laid off and they each made 100k, that doesn't equal 2 billion. If you have been moved to another department and there are multiple levels of the same job level reporting to each... — read more

Is there any extra help for laid-off employees?

This might sound like a silly question, but is there anything beyond the typical severance package for employees who’ve been laid off? I'd mainly like to know if they offer job counseling or any retraining programs to help people transition. Or is... — read more

No surprises here

Considering how we've been doing business in the past several years, did anyone think we'd be in a different spot than we are now? To me, it's no shock we’ve hit rock bottom. CVS' entire setup is outdated - there's hardly anything that doesn’t seem... — read more

Affect on RTO?

Anyone know if David’s appointment to CEO and changes to the ELT will affect RTO policies? Anyone know their stances?

Aetna Town Hall

Disappointed in today’s Aetna Town Hall meeting. The ELT did not mention the 2900 in layoffs earlier this month were the potential for more. The Townhall also did not allow enough time for questions. Or maybe that was their plan.

Overstaffed team

Anyone's team feel a little overstaffed? I feel like we should have trimmed our headcount a bit but we were not impacted at all, while teams that need more people got colleagues axed.

LDP and DJ

If DJ fails, does that mean the leadership development program failed?

Another District Realignment?

Is there any truth to another Divison/Region/District Realignment in 2025? Earliest realignment I knew of since I started was in 2018. Then small change in 2021 and again in 2022. Then a complete realignment in 2023 and another complete realignment a... — read more

Nobody cares about age discrimination

The majority of those laid off are in their 50s and above. It feels like age discrimination is out of control here and nobody cares. Nobody is talking about it, not to mention trying to do something about it. Is this the case of "if it's not... — read more

The lack of transparency is heartless

There have been no announcements of what departments or jobs have been eliminated. We have no idea who is still left or who we should now be working with. It's like a very stressful waiting game that is devastating to moral and ability to focus and... — read more

Anybody returned after resigning?

I wanted to try something new and resigned 3 weeks ago, but the new gig isn’t working out. So, I reached out to my previous manager, and they are willing to take me back, but I still need to go through the hiring process though. Has anyone been in... — read more

corruption and kickbacks

Roger Farah needs to clean up ship by investigating fraud, corruption and leadership kickbacks within the company. Its been going on far too long. Some of the leaders that have been there for 20 years have seen that.

Kicking the Messenger

Aetna/CVS has a long and colorful history of retaliation. Managed by insecure dimwits, they consider transparency and constructive advice to be “rude”. Did you know that 4 years ago, almost to the day, management was advised that claims fraud was out... — read more

CVS needs an innovator. Roger Farah is 71 and is a Bureaucrat’s Bureaucrat. He has mastered slash and burn. Cut the dividend, layoff workers, close stores, fight shareholders, beat suppliers and move operations offshore. How about IT innovation... — read more

There are better alternatives

There are plenty of companies that don't treat their employees like cr-p like CVS. This was never a people friendly company. It was an average workplace at its best, and it's a horrible one at its worst (which is right now). I don't plan to wait for... — read more

CVS has been in decline for too long now

And there have been no attempts to change the course. A lot of flowery words from the top which mean nothing, but in essence there’s no strategy, new ideas, nothing. I have survived several rounds of layoffs, and the only thing that keeps me here is... — read more

There are rumors speculating that there will be no pay raises or bonuses this year. Is this true? Just trying to set expectations for myself as I may need to either find another job or get a part time job.

Return to CVS

Has anyone who was laid off returned to the company ? Was the new job better pay or the same as the previous job ? I would be very afraid to return to the company since it looks like you will get laid off again.

Volunteer for the next layoff?

Is there a possibility to volunteer for the next layoff at CVS? What steps do you need to take to request it?
