Its not just cvs, many Profitable companies are laying off people yet CEOs take no hits.

What will happen to people who aren't compliant? That many people getting summarily fired next week seems unlikely.

Who does the actual termination when they decide to cut your position/let you go due to layoffs? I report to a Director, so would it be them? Or does someone in HR do it? Thanks

It feels like colleagues in these meetings are too scared to state how they really think or feel for fear of retaliation by their management. Maybe Max should have these without managers or supervisors on the call.

CVS is a dying place. Pay is not worth it, there are no real career options, and it feels dilapidated. Job market is bad, the outlook is not rosy, but I’m just done with this place.
