Stores are starting to look horrific!

Seriously though. Been to multiple locations in the past couple of days. Stores are not stocked well and look like they haven’t been faced in months. Cvs is just falling apart. Only a matter of time

CARE PASS

I haven't offered to sell a single care pass membership since CVS announced the newest hours cut. Anyone who does is a fool. "We're going to cut your pay and maybe force you to quit. In the meantime, make more profit for us by selling this c-ap." ... — read more

Unionize!!

We have to unionize! CVS has increased wages because they knew they would bring in auto check out to replace 2 employees per auto checkout. CVS increases wages of technicians, knowing in advance that they would change the system adding more... — read more

Why does the Pharmacy get special holiday hours?

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but WHY does the RX get nice cushy hours on Thanksgiving and Christmas, while the Front Store get nothing but normal regular business hours? Last I checked we ALL work for the same company and we ALL should... — read more

New Mandates Today

New CVS Program

GA area. Our store is starting a new CVS program- we are handing funeral planning guides. When our customers ask why, we tell them simply that we never know when we will make a mistake that could be fatal. So we feel you should be prepared. Customers... — read more

What a true leader does...

A true leader fights for their team! A true leader stands up for their team! A true leader defends their team! A boss throws their team under the bus, whereas a leader would never do that. A boss says “I” and a leader says “we”. A boss barks out... — read more

Rph union - work conditions

there is a major movement nationwide for a pharmacist union being enforced. The work conditions are not possible. Patients health is at danger. No Time for bathroom breaks No time to eat, constant budget cuts make work conditions impossible. This has... — read more

Holidays and time off?

So this has irked me for some time now. I saw on MyLife about holidays, and it mentioned how getting time off on holidays is good for your well being and your overall health. It states that it’s good to have time off to be with your family, and to... — read more

LP Audit Change

A while back, the question on the lp audit, “is the store manager working 2 nights a week?” was taken off. Our DL had LP put the question back on the Audit. Has this happened in any other district? We also had to sign papers that if we didn’t work... — read more

Pharmacists and Future

What i am about to say, maybe harsh and it is just a thought. I am throwing this out to open up conversation and get others opinion. I didn’t like what happened, but I think some responsibility should lie within our profession. I think we should all... — read more

Truck in 24 hours

Does anyone know if this rule still applies? I feel like it’s pretty much downright impossible to get this done now. Takes us about 48 to fully finish.

We are all doomed!!

North Carolina store here. Just been told by DL that we are going to be downgraded from Store Manager position to team leader and by end of next year we will all be hourly. Its time to head for the nearest exit

Hours Changes, CVS is handing business to Walgreens

Here in Indiana, nearly all of our hours are going to RX. Honestly, it is really going to hurt CVS's brand, the front store is a convenient store. WE now have banker's hours, people are just going to go to Walgreens instead.

Look forward to a great week next week

This isn't a horrible idea

Managers and pharmacists asked not to really discuss it openly quiet yet. Not every store will be affected. Some only RX, some both, some coming off 24 hours. No layoffs if that’s what you are worried about. Corporate will make this public mid... — read more

People are talking about it in the replies like it's a done deal, but there was no official word on it from what I can tell. How do we know it's really happening? What am I missing?
