With OC next up to be "re-imagined" and pending layoffs in May/June, I would think they shared something of note...

Will Agile be Reimagined?
Any chance that we will get rid of the Agile nonsense? I swear Product Managers and Product Owners are useless. Could save quite a bit eliminating those roles and replacing with some competent project managers.
VSP?
Has anything been leaked as far as what the VSPs will look like? Anyone know what ops were offered? I’ve heard 2 weeks per year of service, plus job placement support, but idk how true that is.
New VSP - who will qualify?
Anyone have any insight into who will be offered the new VSP? PP said in her video that the criteria would not be the same as the one in Operations, but I listened in on a town hall and a member of the ELT implied it would be Rule of 70 and addressed... — read more
Flexible Work Arrangement
EJ sent out a reminder that every associate and GP who live within a commutable distance is to report to the office at least three days per week. This will continue through Trimester 1 2026. You can bet it will be increased to more days per week... — read more
Townhall meeting
Does anyone know what will be discussed on the townhall meeting set for this week? I feel like people are being dodgy when asked about it.
Layoffs
Will there be more any time soon?
Will you remain a Edward Jones client?
Question for the group. 10-15% of home office associates are likely to get severance packages this year. If you are given a package, will you remain a Edward Jones client? I personally will not pay over 1% AUM on my fee based account for the... — read more
Partners unite?
I have talked to many partners who are appalled by the decisions that are being made right now. Why not consider a no-confidence vote for the MP? These types of votes have happened at other firms, couldn’t it happen at EJ? I’d like to believe Ted... — read more
EJ has changed for the worse, but I still want to keep my job
I'm really anxious about losing it. First, the job market is rough right now. Second, my team is great, and I genuinely enjoy going to work. Third, I have too much going on in my life at the moment to dedicate the time and energy needed to find... — read more
How is this human centered?
I am certain GPs and Directors will get a nice fat severance. The rest will get a paltry 2 weeks/year. The folks who will feel the financial pinch more will get less in severance. Not sure how this is human centered.
Leaders Out
Old Man Frank Laquinta and Lena “ the spy” Haas are “retiring” and will be gone. Don’t let the door hit ya where to good Lord split ya!

ELT Changes Coming!
So hearing there is a GP meeting today to share ELT changes. Anyone want to wager on winners and losers? I’m betting that the poorest leaders around PP’s table will remain. This is about the only thing she has been consistent in - tolerating weak... — read more
Knives out?
We know some people are trying to wait it out. However it seems that people who did nothing prior to ER are now using all their time to su-k up to GPs and backstab their colleagues. Other good people are so disgusted (and principled) that they'll... — read more
It's the waiting...
Hey all, I'm a team leader in tech and I wish I had any info on if I am good or not. I manage a pretty big team today (40+) and I'm constantly busy in the right way. Before coming to EJ I lived through these types of layoffs in other companies and... — read more
The Shameful Decline and Fall of Edward Jobes
As a current Jones FA, I can confidently say that there has been a steady decay in the trust of Penny and her executive team. Under her “leadership” the firm has declined in every area except AUM. Under her “stewardship” the firm has gone from... — read more
Living in an alternate universe
Edward Jones people- I'm talking to the ones that didn't drink the Kool-aid but were still proud to say you worked at Jones. I feel like we have been infiltrated by the enemy. Like what happens when African bees take over the regular hive. We are... — read more
Introducing the EJ “Reimagineers” (Disney pun intended)

Perspective from HQ
Hello from Reimagination Land! It's too bad we are so isolated from FA's. I really feel as an associate and also as a client with Edward Jones you FA's should absolutely be concerned with the new quality of care you will be receiving. Do you think... — read more

Edward Jones #24 on Forrunes Great Places to Work
Increasing from #31... based on 2024 surveys... after they announced RTO... I call bullsh-t or it was waaaay overindexed to field responses. That doesn't align at all with CES results.
Has it started yet?
Since the announcement, have any associates been let go or have any roles been eliminated? It’s been weeks since they said this, but there hasn’t been any information since then.
Responsibility Based Performance Management Failure

Local People are the Backbone

Awful GPS
It’s bad enough we have the layoffs hanging over our heads. Now we have some of these GPS trying to aggressively save their own skin and throw others into the fire.
We'll pay for this
How many of us will be fired or laid off to pay for this increase in pay? I have no doubt that this will result in some cuts. It's always us who end up paying for those at the top, whether it's something like this or to make up for another one of... — read more

For full transparency and accountability David Chubak and Ryan Littlemore should be in St. Louis home office three days per week.
David Chubak and Ryan Littlemore should be in the St. Louis home office location three days per week like the rest of us. No more hiding in NYC the whole work week on Zoom meetings.
Citigroup realized David C's mistake - Officially bringing Tech back Internally
The timing of these announcements is outright hilarious
Out with ordinary, In with the extraordinary
It's official... it's so over for EDJ. Penny has aligned EDJ with the other F500s to implement an array of change that just about every corporation has/is done/doing. We're not a special company anymore... we toe the line. So if Penny's ridiculous... — read more
Impact on HBA (remote) associates
Are there any indications that HBA(Remote) associates will be impacted more than St Louis based associates?
More details
Does anyone have a copy of the announcement? Need to see if the wording is consistent for everyone.
NYC partners
No wonder why they keep hiring people that refuse to live in St Louis. They can cut us and not feel guilty. Firm is being destroyed by McKinsey and Penny.
What is early retirement at Edward Jones?
I have been hearing that the firm could offer early retirement option to folks near retirement as a part of the reimagine process. What does early retirement mean? It is not like we have a pension program.
When will it start?
Does anybody know when the layoffs will start? I'm hoping it's going to happen soon to avoid too much unnecessary stress. Even if I'm on the list, I'd rather know right now so I can figure out what to do next instead of waiting and wondering for who... — read more
