It is so frustrating to be doing double the work and 50% more hours and no one cares. RM's and GVP's are in self preservation mode and can't or won't do anything to help. MyHR does NOT work and has become the new OMS.

I was definitely not offered a part time job, but was "encouraged to apply for one of the part time jobs being posted on November 18th." Also, according to info emailed out today, severance checks "will be mailed out after December 6th." Bullshit.

We were told that We would get our last 2 weeks plus what vacation time We had left. I was paid for 1 week and vacation. Are We getting screwed for 1 weeks pay? How ethical is that? I will be making another call this morning.

they have Fall 12 and Spring 13 to compare to. It will actually get worse and then there will be more layoffs to compensate. Blue light specials are minor with a decreased margin as well.

No, Like you I have not actually received it yet...just commenting on the 40 hour detail of the layoff. I have assumed it will arrive with mail tomorrow at our home address... but I know what assuming can get you with this place...

Yes, I was also promised 40 hours on my final check and I also did not get it. Hours were low in my store that week so I was well below 40. Just more empty talking I presume.

Not sure that I am 100% following here...

Severance was not issued yet. It says it won't be until dec. 6 at the earliest. Nov. 22 we received last paycheck and vacation payout.
