Work from home

Just say that the company starts enforcing return to office. If you were at a business center (FMCC) prior to WFH, such as Tampa, Greenville, Nashville, etc, what’s going to happen to those employees? From what I understand, if they haven’t closed... — read more

Subscription revenue line item?

Does anyone recall a couple years ago when Farley made a big deal about breaking up the company into Blue, Pro and Model e he said there would be five financial breakdowns, the other two being Credit and subscriptions. I can’t find that original... — read more

This is a great place to work

... if you want to stagnate and ki-l your own career. Since starting working here, I've actually regressed skills wise; no one follows best practices, software is just built and pushed without any code reviews. LL6's are clowns pretending to have... — read more

Work From Home Cheaters Ki-ling Ford

Still so many people “working” from home, doing everything but Ford work. Work one hour on emails and get paid for the day, call in to the meeting and tune out, you can even move out of state with your girlfriend and flip houses on Ford’s bill all... — read more

Salaried Layoffs

I'm not seeing any signs that a large-scale layoff of salaried employees similar to this past June is imminent. I have read the posts about PS, contractors and a few Ford salaried being terminated, but thoughts on when the next round of... — read more

What's the interest in unionizing?

Any thoughts on unionizing salaried employees at Ford? Seriously, after all of this, I really don't see a downside, so is there an interest, and if so, any good proposals on how to start the process?

GM salaried 3.5 %, wow!

Isn’t that just the normal annual raise? They said it was happening next spring. Seems like that is just normal for GM. Ford usually gets lower pay and raises than GM , ours is usually 2.7%. lol.

GSRs are the backbone of this company

The UAW likes to claim they are what makes this company work but Ford would have nothing without its U.S. GSRs. We design and test the products, keep the factories running, write the software, acquire the materials, coordinate the logistics, manage... — read more

TS's & SME's

If they are so critical to Ford's future and improving quality, shouldn't they all be designated HTHS, and all made LL6/5 with immediate retention bonuses? Legitimate experts are impossible to find, and take years / decades to develop. Legitimate... — read more

Retiring before Dec-1?

I’m curious, anyone here is thinking about retiring this year? It seems HR is not as active with email and “webinars” like they did last year. Lump sum down 8% for 2024 is not bad and we could see a rebound in 2025 and lump sum will grow again. — read more

Ford+ Plan and BEV Strategy

GTH - Focused on Quality??

So the Company lays off a bunch of people in June, 2023 and August, 2022, leaves the remaining employees to struggle on how to make their departments work, and says we have to do better with quality? Did they not see this coming?
