When to expect paystubs after being let go?

I was let go last Tuesday, and since my life@ford was disabled, I couldn't get my recent paystubs. I had emailed spayroll@ford.com a week back with 4 requested identifications, but I still have not received anything. When do they generally send you... — read more

Rivian bests Ford Lightning

So far this year, Rivian produced over 23,000 electric vehicles and delivered more than 20,000. Ford delivered only 9,757 Lightnings in that period. Rivian is winning! Maybe because they aren’t saddled with Alexandra Ford English? BTW, where is... — read more

Job with competitors

Anyone else thinking of trying to get an offer from direct competitors? After many years here that would be very difficult for me, but on the other hand, I would love to try something new.

Ford's LinkedIn Post

According to their post 2 hours ago, they're hiring for Global Manufacturing Engineers. How infuriating!

There is no collaboration

Everyone keeps to themselves, people don't respond on webex for hours and there is really no culture. I wouldn't be surprised if attrition skyrockets

How is morale in your org?

People are pretending nothing happened and are going along their merry way when in reality I am noticing people being much slower and way more disengaged. I wouldn't be surprised if half my org quit or was fired in a few months

Ford 401k match after layoff before 3_year service

According to Ford policy, all company contribution to your 401k will only be vested after 3 years. I only worked for Ford barely two years. I was impacted last week. Will I get any company 401k match vested? Feel bad to lose my job. Feel worse if I... — read more

It's hard to get a new job

How does performance management work here?

I don't want to stay here for a long time but want to stretch out my time so I can keep collecting paychecks with the least amount of work until I can find another job. What should I be doing to not be targetted? Making up alot of work and... — read more

Performance+ = 3 birds with one stone

Change my mind – the new Performance+ process is an attempt by senior management to ki-l three birds with one stone: Fire expensive pension holders legally (with less lawsuits for age/race/gender) under pretense of “low performance” Insulate... — read more

How many people from ADAS department were laid off? And why? Is the strategy to outsource the ADAS projects to Latitude AI? What do you guys think?

WARN Act

It seems likely to me that there was a mass layoff (as defined by the WARN Act) at the Dearborn campus (Research & Engineering Center) with no notice and thus we would are entitled to 60 days pay and benefits. This seems better than the alternative... — read more

Increasing your marketability

As I started looking for a new job, it became clear to me that I am much less marketable than I thought. Getting a better job will be difficult unless I do something about it. How to increase your marketability in a short time? Is there a way? — read more

Anyone know of a good Wrongful Termination lawyer?

The separation compensation is so tiny I think it’s worth a gamble to get a lawyer to pursue wrongful termination. Maybe Ford made a mistake in their haste. It’s been known to happen. Like firing people with a set of skills where Ford still has... — read more

Is the best strategy to quiet quit?

Quiet quit and basically look externally for better opportunities. Most of my team and org has been really quiet and I've noticed that work has slowed down.

Will RTO be enforced soon?

Dealing with the aftermath of this past week and then dealing with this would be too much but not out of the ordinary.

Are we allowed to work another job?

As in, being over employed i.e having 2 full time jobs while being at Ford. I have no faith that i wont be affected in September and don't want to be thrown out to the horrible job market
