Is it safe to visit TheLayoff GM-provided wifi?

Not sure what the official position of GM on visiting this site is. There seems to be a lot of people who are doing it nowadays. Granted, I am doing this on my personal phone but sometimes I connect to GM-provided wifi and not sure if this is kosher... — read more

Any HR Job cuts?

So after the dust has settled, does anyone know if HR was hit at all in all these cuts? Can't think of a more useless group that could be eliminated to save millions.

Next time, do yourself a favor!

Believed "they" had great ideas moving Cadillac to New York? That was the most unintelligent idea that came out of GM in a very long time. I've posted elsewhere that vision works both ways. The vision to see where your going, and the vision to know... — read more

UAW Bonuses

Is GM still too heavy?

So with all these cuts, is GM still too heavy personnel wise? I look at DRE's that have 1 or 2 components that they're releasing and I can't understand how that fills up 40 hours of their week. I mean, the supplier is doing all the work and the DRE... — read more
