Are there any efforts to right size our C suites compensation, to bare some resemblance to the reduction in activity which the rest of us have been effected by?

Has no one else noticed in the last week crude has gone up by about $8 a barrel? That’s a 33% increase in a week. We’ve hit bottom and are slowly going to head back up into the $40-$50 range by year end.

Halliburton Energy reported 4,510 employee layoffs in the Greater Houston area. This is what we have reported to WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notifications).

For those who survived remember that you are only an SAP number to laurence and jimmy. Next quarter they will check earnings again and lay offs again. Nobody stays in Halliburton for too long. Eventually they will get you.
