Duncan

Has anyone heard anything about DMC and DTC? I sense the tension but it’s quiet. No one is talking about layoff but also no one feels safe. My wife and I go in every day wondering if it’s the last.

Bad PR and Layoffs During Pandemic

This company would not risk the unbelievably bad PR they would receive by mass laying off people during an international pandemic. Maybe a few people here and there but 99% of us are probably safe until this COVID19 thing is over. But then the head... — read more

Sperry Software countdown to lay offs

Boys, its too late to get out of that lousy group. You are stuck in a group with probably the worst managers in Halliburton. As a bonus, you get no focal point this year, no bonuses, nothing. You should have read posts in this forum earlier. — read more

How big will the cuts be?

So how big will the cuts be? No way we can go forward without them. Im thinking if we have 30,000 people now we will be down to between 20,000-25,000 so a good 30% headcount reduction.

Get realistic, get ready!

There will be lay offs. In 2009 Oil was booming but the stock went down to $12. There were lay offs every month. Now we got both oil , the economy, the Chinese virus. There is no way that Halliburton can keep going. Q1 report is coming up on... — read more

Mergers

Mergers are the biggest growth fraud of them all. Take two sand piles and sweep them together. You can make the claim that you've doubled the amount of sand in one pile, but the amount of sand hasn't changed at all. There's been no real growth. — read more
