Managers should go around and ask for volunteers to be laid off. There are a lot of unhappy people who would step up and much rather be laid off than keep working in the positions they are in.

Halliburton (Capt. Smith) has ordered full steam ahead with the divestitures with many more to come. Only a handful of jobs (lifeboats) available. This ship will hit the iceberg and founder. Will you be able to survive?

Just curious, if Hal is so bad, why are folks waiting to see if they survive each round of cuts rather than taking control and jumping off the rotting ship on their own. I have reasons of my own for holding out, what are yours?
