Work From Home Banned at Honeywell

Announcement pending within 7 days (HR Source). Across ALL Honeywell SBGs and Corporate. Davey and Darius have decided that they don't trust you to work at home because you clearly won't work hard enough.

Career Growth

To anyone looking at HON, there is no career growth here. You will be expected to work and work and then you'll get no reward. No merit increases, they are consistently lowering band levels for roles in order to pay you less and less. Most of the... — read more

Where else to work in the area?

I know I'm preaching to the choir when I say HON has managed itself into the ground. I'd love to quit today and go elsewhere, but where else in the PHX area can I go to work with aero engineering background? I was highly adventurous in my 20s, but... — read more

This place is really seeming to fall; I don't know when the next furlough / layoff session is, but the recent ones have made it so most of my coworkers do not have the time to properly mentor me on the workings of the equipment and work I could do. I... — read more

Honeywell drops dental coverage and is now requiring enrollment into Castlight if you are on the Cigna or horizon blue card healthcare.

Dave is now extorting $100 from you if you do not enrolled in Castlight. Also, HON is now covering 0% of your dental insurance. Just another reason to leave and yet another reason to not even bother coming to HON in the 1st place. It keeps getting... — read more

Did you get zero pay for the week BEFORE and the week of the furlough? Or work the furlough week and not get paid?

Some employees worked the week of 9/12 and were furloughed the week of 9/19. Their paycheck today was ZERO. Like $0.00. They should be paid for the week they worked. Right? Other employees who were told they would be furloughed, and later told they... — read more

About 10% pay cut - the best comment by far

Work from home. Not anymore.

HR are doing the rounds and 'interviewing' people about working from home. "Complaints" and "Concerns" have been logged. It's just a matter of time before WFH is pulled.

Yea, Don't Just Blame Cote

What about the Board Of Directors? They have to "approve" him or "disapprove" him. They sign off on all of his bonus & stock schemes. He keeps his job. At all the other U.S. employees expense. Rotten apples tend to stay under the same tree.
