For two months we were all looking over our shoulders expecting to get the axe, and then no one was RIF'd other than a +70 volunteer. Honeywell "leadership" sure knows how to destroy employee morale. Seems to be the only thing they are good at.

No big surprise but not a single vp director or otherwise exec position has been eliminated. Don't the failures that result in layoffs and furloughs start there. I'm confused. Honeywell seems very top heavy.

This RIF is supposed to be around 10% or more. Expect another furlough in Dec with another RIF 5-10% more in Jan 2017.

An email was sent out to emeai aero employees today asking to take up to 10 days voluntary furlough between now and end of December.

HOS leader and another person. Supposed to be all for us.

Confirmed the RIF is currently in progress! Don't know who the lucky ones are the ones to go - or the ones who stay.
