Long-term goals

Yesterday I had an interesting debate with colleagues about whether HW leadership knows where this company is going. It seems to me that our poor leadership is rather short term goals oriented. Does anyone know what the long-term goals of this... — read more

Look for a Savior ?

All of us... Yes all of now represent the Brand. In fact it's gone as far as to ask Engineering to do a sales presentation as a part of their evaluation from what I understand. Is this despiration ? We need to explain it to the customer.....? If so... — read more

Why do you work hard?

Some say hard work is not valued and yet they continue to work hard. If investing effort is not valued, then why are there people who still give their best? Let's be fair, if hard work really isn't valued, then no one would do anything more than... — read more

SPS President leaving?

I just heard that the prez of SPS is moving on come April 1. Given that this guy has continuously shown just how out of touch he is with the business. I am not surprised. But don't worry for him. He has been collecting over 5 million a year and will... — read more

What's stopping you from leaving?

I got the job after only two months of looking. Honestly, I was surprised because I thought it wasn’t going to be that easy. Now it is no longer clear to me why I procrastinated for so long and waited for something to change here. I guess the... — read more

if you Signed the exemption

I'm done being overworked

I'm done accepting more work when I already have a full plate that takes more hours in a day than I have to finish. If they want to fire me for this, so be it. I think my health can only benefit from me leaving HON, even if I don't get a severance... — read more

Approved and Denied Exemptions

There are both approved and denied exemptions. Any insight to how the review team makes the distinction between who is approved and who isn't?

I wonder what we can expect in 2022

I doubt things will improve, that's for sure. I am wondering if we'll see some of the leadership walk away from the sinking ship. It would be very appropriate. More layoffs and more closings are a forgone conclusion, but I'm hoping for another... — read more

So much pressure in achieving the targets

The pressure is huge. Isn’t it too much to expect a very understaffed team to make such unrealistic numbers? I'm getting sick and tired of this company.

They rely on luck sheer luck

I have a growing feeling that management doesn't know what it's doing. It's hard to believe, but they really aren't very convincing in making us believe that they have a vision, a plan. No matter how confident they look and how full of self-praise... — read more

What will Honeywell do when Putin takes Ukraine?

Aero relies a LOT on their Brno location. Will they have to close it down when Putin invades Ukraine? I hope the savings all these years were worth it! Aero will be in a world of hurt without Brno.

The rules don't seem to apply to everyone

Note that HON is a defendant. Note also that Sandia seems to have formed a grassroots union (SNL Workforce Freedom Alliance). https://www.abqjournal.com/2457300/unvaccinated-workers-sue-to-keep-sandia-jobs.html
