How badly do you want out?

Would you leave even if it meant significantly lower pay? Personally, I'm looking for a way out, but not at any cost. However, a coworker is leaving and he told me he is taking a nearly 30 percent pay cut just to get out of here. Do people... — read more

Honeywell Anniston

To Anniston employees looking here: Based on our recent town hall, it looks like we still have a fighting chance. A decision on Anniston hasn't been made yet, so the ball is on our court. What are we going to do? Let's quit whining about leadership... — read more

Is this true?

There are two plans. One is to demote individual contributor band 4's to band 3's, reducing the MIP bonus dollars. The other is to prepare for the coming recession (the one that Wall Street has been saying for the past 2 years is imminent). That one... — read more

Houston R&O being shuttered

The aircraft wheel and brake shop was informed this week that they are being closed down by March of 2020 if not sooner. Some good people there!

RIM plan

Anyone willing to share information about the planned reduction in management? Is it still just being considered or already planned? I kind of think they are targeting the wrong layer for cost reduction. How about targeting all the band 4's that... — read more

Mid year appraisals & Darius Adamczyk's Honeywell

Just had my mid-year review. Darius has found a way to make sure Honeywell workers perform at maximum effort. I think my boss is required to write hard hitting reviews that feature small things magnified 10x. My overall performance (good) was not... — read more

Increased Security at Sky Harbor

Anyone know why there is an increased security presence at Sky Harbor? Email came out Monday night stating that only specific turnstiles can be used to enter/exit the facility. Today there are security guards at every parking lot entrance and guards... — read more

This will not work out

If Honeywell keeps laying off experienced employees and bringing in barely out of school replacements, something is going to break really soon. I'm not even blaming the newcomers - some of them are actually trying, but they receive barely any... — read more

This will be interesting if it really happens. Chinese state media raised the specter of backlash against U.S. companies including General Dynamics Corp. and Honeywell International Inc, as the foreign ministry warned firms would be sanctioned if... — read more

The "minus 46"

The "minus 46" is the score for Aero DV survey results on a possible range of -100 to +100. Plus 100 means you would highly recommend working here to a friend. Someone already posted the e-mail that came with the result as a comment. I think this... — read more

Unlimited Vacation

What is the real story on unlimited Vacation now? Are we still held, in an unwritten way, to the old policy (2 weeks, 3 weeks @ 5 years and/or B4, etc.)? If so, what are the consequences of going beyond that a couple days?

More before December 15

Across HBS globally I heard 300 by end of Q2 (June 28) - so they may be almost done for this go-round. I am sure there will be some before 401k match day December 15th
