Foundry is looking amazing. Goodbye TSMC!

The only company that TSMC fears is Intel. They don't fear Samsung. They fear Intel. This is a fact. They are quaking in their boots about 18A trying to get as much intel (pardon the pun) on it as possible. It is that good. There is nothing which... — read more

Intel Management has finally found the Layoff Board

Can I just point out how hilarious it is see that Intel Management is now reading and up/down voting. It has been an obvious change in topics and responses to the last several layoffs when they couldn't care less and never felt the need to come here... — read more

No Car Allowance

Word has spread no car allowance for new G7 in the promo cycle. Creates an unfair bias of new employees vs old. Trying to tell us that we’re paid the equivalent in base pay when everyone knows the expected equivalent !

Potential buyers for NEX?

With the news of Intel reportedly looking to sell NEX, what companies out there would seriously consider making a purchase?

Layoffs more like 20% is the minimum

I have heard that many units are floating around 24% and as high as 100%. 100% is for the smaller sites that have lost their offices and there are no large sites nearby. The cuts will affect full-time and contracts. My upper management feels the... — read more

What are the chances layoffs are performance based?

It’s never happened before, but maybe this is when it starts. In all honesty, I wouldn’t mind it if that’s the case. Getting rid of the most experienced and knowledgeable people just because they earn the most has never made sense to me. It only... — read more

A message to my Intel “Family”

As we are all checking this board for layoff news. We can change out fate. We do not work for the manager who hired us. We work for INTEL. We have been dysfunctional for too long. If you see bullsh-t, call bullsh-t. Jump the chain of... — read more

Wasn't 18A supposed to be out by now?

Tell me again about who's in the rear view mirror? It's gonna be real hard to shed the bad image and attract customers to our fab that we are not even using ourselves. Not to mention Intel Corp is still full of pompous pr--k losers. Oh, you... — read more

So where is LBT ?

We heard from him 1 time during the ACM. During this time don't we expect more consistency from him on company updates and where we are headed ? Just another body there masked as a CEO

Product development the old way is path forward.

How many of you knew Gen 13 and 14 su-ked a-s? I imagine a great deal of you did but the executives at modern Intel only listen to management. Intel needs a direct link to the CEO with engineers, driver development and validation. Product launch... — read more

Stuck In survival mode

Small cuts are now meaningless. Most high performers have voluntarily left during the last round. The infighting for survival to retain a paycheck is sickening. This is a race to the bottom. If I were CEO, I would make deeper cuts, like 1/3, and... — read more
