Mostly US based hospitality employees were let go.
6 day work weeks?
Is this just a CE thing or are those in other parts of the company being given a mandate to work 6 days + OT.
Details on cuts?
Does anyone have more details to share about the rumors circulating regarding layoffs? Who will be the main targets? How big will the cuts be? I still refuse to believe that this will happen, because some of us here are doing double workloads, but... — read more
Benefits keep getting worse…
Anyone else noticed how benefits are getting worse each passing year? This is ridiculous. Cost keeps going up though. I remember when company contribution used to be $2000 for a family HSA and now it is $1000 only if you self contribute first.
happy layoff week
Open secret in HR that big layoffs are coming this week
Manual QA Looking to Leave NCR
Hello. I am a manual QA on the RPOS side of NCR. I was excited when NCR allowed us to work from home, especially because of the fact that the work we were doing was not hindered by covid. Even when we didn't get a pay raise and then a super low raise... — read more
Did you have enough time to move your personal files?
I know that many did not have time to move their personal files after they were informed about the layoff. It all happens very quickly, so you should always be prepared in this regard - move your personal files on time!
Beating Q3 earning by laying off Employees
I heard q3 earning were good..no wonder they were good after so many people were laid off just before earnings. Less cost = better earnings
NCR layoffs have started in Israel.
Massive layoffs took place in Israel last week. I heard reports that the managers were unaware that their employees were being let go. This is going to impact USA soon. Reports are that NCR wants to let go at least 50% of their staff here in the... — read more
CE jobs are safe
NCR has shown it’s love and admiration for its’s CE workforce with this past weeks CE Appreciation. Don’t expect any layoffs of CE’s, Mike and the rest of upper management couldn’t sing the praises any louder. I think raises, better benefits with... — read more
Many here pray for layoffs
I think there are currently more people who would like to be paid to leave than those who would like to stay and suffer this pressure and stress here. You agree?
LinkedIn posts
I wonder if all the people who can be seen raving about NCR’s Employee first culture think this will save them from getting laid off 😂 NCR does not give a sh-t about you. You will get laid off here when it’s time.
Is this even legal?
I am convinced this company does not care about anyones work life balance. The person we report to listens to us but then does the opposite so it’s pretty much all talk and no action. Our leadership cares about calls and doesn’t care how many hours... — read more
This week's layoffs
Is there any way to know how many were laid off this week, in total? We seem to be in a never-ending cycle of layoffs and it's truly starting to take a toll on my health, both mental and physical. What's the end goal here? To move ALL operations to... — read more

Exhausting work/life imbalance
Even if I had more job security here, even if I was paid better and the manager was a person who knew what unrealistic expectations are - I would still be urgently looking for a way out of here. The reason is that work/life balance is... — read more
Employees bashing NCR on LI after quitting
I have noticed this lately employees who quit or laid off are bashing NCR on Linkedin… this was long time coming considering the way employees are treated here. You reap what u sow!
Wearing multiple hats
If I could find a better job, I would immediately give notice and never look back on this place. Only those who cannot get anything better are still here. NCR knows this very well and exploits people's fear of losing their jobs. Is there anyone... — read more
What will be left of NCR in the US?
Considering the excessive outsourcing, it seems that not much will remain here. Someone said that only "limited remote staff" will remain, and I'm afraid that's exactly what will happen.
Lay offs happening today
Please comment if you were let go today. I know at least 5 people that i used to work with were let go today in US.
It's a bit strange
I know this is not a popular opinion, however... I really don't understand why those who say they work the bare minimum and spend most of their time updating their resumes, later get angry at the company's decision to outsource the workforce. Isn't... — read more

$20 stock - we split in two - it’s a hop skip and jump before we’re a penny stock!!!
It just takes ONE market mover to short us - and let’s assume each company becomes $10, shorting could easily make one of the companies go down to $5, which means penny stock! This company is going down the tubes, fast.
Justify your job reports
Now that I have been gone a while I feel like like I can ask this. Did anyone else feel like the monthly performance reviews felt more like an interrogation where you had to explain why you shouldn't lose your job?
The split into two independent companies
The news of the plan to separate NCR into two companies removed any dilemma as to whether I should leave here. I immediately sent as many applications as possible. Anyone have a positive opinion on this? I think chaos will follow.
Why are you still here?
You have exactly zero reasons to stay at NCR unless you want to. There are still plenty of available jobs that pay really well. I got a 20 percent raise a month ago when I switched jobs and I know I'm not the only one. Take advantage of this!... — read more

Lots of talk, no real action
The management simply doesn't walk their talk. Are you sick of their empty promises? Why these constant promises that it will get better when we all know that the chance of that happening is minimal?
Bought by Veritas Capital
WSJ reporting that Veritas capital (private equity firm) has agreed to buy out NCR. What does it mean for current employees? Are we about to get the boot if deal does go through?
NCR almost never does anything that is of benefit to the employees
Nowhere is ideal, employees everywhere have many complaints. However, of all the companies I've worked at so far, this is the company that barely does anything that is of benefit to the employees. Right? I've submitted my resignation.
