New org looks unrecognisable. Heaps of demotions but more importantly no career pathways at Nike anymore. Many given option of a demotion or a redundancy. Tough decisions ahead!!

Are remote roles but located in the state of Oregon counted in the 740 reported in the WARN list? Or the 740 only has the employees based in Oregon (non-remote roles)?

Per document uploaded in OR WARN database yesterday, it looks like 740 WHQ employees were/will be impacted by phase one and two.

There should be an HBS case study documenting Nike’s fall and cultural erosion. It would make for great learning. Title it “From great to meh in 5 years”. It would be good learning from future managers on what not to do.
