Why don’t we see LinkedIn posts from impacted employees? When Meta/Google/Microsoft had layoffs LinkedIn was filled with posts. I don’t see posts from May either.

I had the bad idea of watching the movie "The Intern" with Robert De Niro. Very depresing to see during a layoff.

This was as much a dud as the hurricane Hilary. Less than 4 percent in San Diego is the high estimate. Most impact were the offices in other cities, many sites fully closed.

I doubt it since I can't remember a time when layoffs at Qualcomm only lasted one day, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

All layoffs for today should be done by 2 pm. There will be another round tomorrow and Friday. Friday's round should be fairly light.

Team composed of 20 FTEs and 2 consultants. Won't give further details.

Can’t say I didn’t expect it since my former director would do anything to save his bestie. But I’m truly sad because I really like Qualcomm.

My Sr. Director said on Monday that the cuts would be communicated today. So far, I've heard nothing. So that means I'm safe? They're not doing it today? Who knows?
