So qualcomm finally reached a deal with China. More Layoffs on the way or relax and keep working?

What exactly is performance improvement plan? is it real chance for improving or they gonna lay you off either way? is any HR person part of the process for fairness?

A lot of people have been bad mouthing Qualcomm on here but there must be some good things to be said. Come on guys.

Did Samsung throw QCOM and the Snapsragonr 810 under the bus for technical reasons or to just prompt the Exynos processor?

I wonder if Exynos ends up being successful on the Galaxy S6, will Samsung eventually just use it across its entire product line? And would they start selling them to other OEM's? This game is about to get a lot more interesting.

Spoke with a sr staff manager recently and he mentioned that active discussions are still occurring to plan the next round of layoffs. Can anyone confirm whether these discussions are still happening in other groups?

RSU I heard are great. Base salary not that much better. Will senior staff engineer at QC get a principal engineer position at Apple. What about stress levels and workload? If totally insane across the board, then maybe not worth it.
