Yesterday, it was published that CA will cut 1500 jobs. I did not hear anyone that I know getting notifications or a 60 days prior warning yet. Does anyone know more about this so far?

I am from India, was interviewed a week ago. I was told verbally by HR about the offer. He told me that he would get back to me with the offer letter in 10 days. I am just worried if there would there be any hiring freeze?

Heard only 1 so far from someone that was not in the office yesterday.

This team earned an order of magnitude more than they cost. Looks like Q is cutting earnings more than expenses. Just like last time, as the numbers have shown.

We were promised there will be folks with higher titles in layoff. But they targeted engineers. Yesfolks with engineer title not even staff and Sr. Staff. Forget about directors and vps. Really big morons.
