STAPLES THE OFFICE DOOFUSS-STORE

If the Reddit posting is legit, have no clue it is, then the new management is NO BETTER. Spending this kind of money on a executive stunt is ridiculous. What would have spent on this event, again if it really happened, should have spent on more... — read more

Contract People Step Inside

Did you get stung by the .50 commision multiplier too? Bottom dwelling management screws the SAL's once again. 4th commision cut in the last 15 months. Why SAL's are leaving en masse is beyond me.

WSJ article on Ron Confused, was this supposed to be presented in a positive light or a negative? Because it just sounds petty and foolish.

http://www.wsj.com/articles/staples-ceo-ron-sargent-to-step-down-1464727423 "Mr. Sargent made frugality a hallmark of Staples’ culture. He used to provide reports to his top-level executives naming workers who had splurged on overnight shipping or... — read more

Good Job BoD....It's about damn time.......

It's been obvious Ron needed to go for awhile, before buying OD even came up. With the stock in the gutter, the failed buyout (not even stating a case...really?) and the shareholder meeting approaching it would have been difficult not to dismiss Ron... — read more

A lot of good people have left.

IMO, the company and many managers don't know what makes a good employee. I've seen too many good people leave because management failed to recognize their talents and played favorites with the mediocre emploees who know how to schmooz. Hard to be a... — read more

Wishing to be a fly on a wall today

I'd love to be a fly on a wall today and just watch the emails fly from executives down to the managers. Ron has to be livid, but, of course had he not POed Obama, this may have gone through. Remember managers, cascade those emails to your team. I'm... — read more
