Horrible to come back here to read all this.
Me and nearly all of us who left or were pushed out last year have landed in far better jobs.
I have never been happier at work.
My advice to anyone unhappy but still working here is to jump ship.
You will almost certainly be better off.
One of the problems: The management can't decide any important things anymore. And also many managers weren't able to really lead employees, since they simply never learned to do so. And then there are no consequences for a manager, if the company goes bancrupt. He then should be held accountable, but that's not the case.
Well said, I completely agree. All done for the rich to richer. KLT and the CEO only interested in their exit bonus of £M figure sums. They will do anything and I mean anything to succeed, everyone and everything else is instantly disposable.
Tell you what's hard mate, being suddenly unemployed from the company you've invested years of hard work and dedication into. Especially when there's no good reason other than a load of rich investors have turned up and kicked all the furniture over for no good reason other than lining their already stuffed pockets, without stopping to gain an actual understanding of the company first.
If you're still there and reasonably happy, congratulations, but be aware that in itself puts you in a position of privilege, and I'd assume chances are you're not on the front line either, because very few of those guys have been having a good time over the last few months between the workload, the angry customers and all the worry and uncertainly over job security. It would be naive to assume that anybody is safe from being chopped the minute they're not longer deemed useful, under the new regime.
Change was needed, but it didn't need to be like this, it's not like the company wasn't turning a profit. Too many good people were thrown away needlessly.
not all the glassdoor comments are fake. i left one and i am a "normal" employee - not management. I like it, it's going through change which can be hard but it is not a bad place to work. some of the comments are laughable and it makes you wonder if its even employees leaving them
Don't feed the troll.
Why lie, if you hate your job so much, go somewhere else where they can deal with your negativity.

This is a complete fabrication. Why post lies like this? Attention seeking maybe?
In Italy, another 10 implementation people will be released on January 31st
Yeah guys, so we know what is going on (or not?) in the UK.
But what about other keyloop's sites around the world?
Please comment down and help us to better understand the RIGHT STATE OF THE ART.
No one in support was included because the original statement is a lie.
When you say All at Hungerford, which department,s were these for. Was anyone in support included.
All at Hungerford received our notices today due to leave the building in March.
Fake Glassdoor reviews are fairly common practice amongst unscrupulous companies trying to obscure cultural problems or organisational dysfunction from potential new hires, it's by no means unique to CDK/Keyloop.
Previously under CDK, support managers actively encouraged(pressured) Team leaders to add on positive reviews on Glassdoor.
Since then I never believe what is on there.
They would be more productive addressing the issues rather than posting fake news.
Looks like they've got people tasked with clicking the "Helpful" button to boost the fake positive reviews to the top of the list as well.
Well the 5 star review didn't come from any customers, Keyloop are shocking. Four weeks on average for support to answer a call. All the good people from Kerridge of old all gone.
Another bonus paid for a 5star glassdoor review just posted. Basically outlining that keyloop is a brilliant company to work for. The problem was the original staff unable to see the light and not the new incompetent KLT and business strategy. Makes you want vomit it’s so sickening. Like the post below get out is great advice, shame someone might join based on the BS on Glassdoor.
The shitstorm would be the least of my worries in returning.
The new corporate overlords have shown themselves time and time again to be disingenuous, manipulative, arrogant, lacking in any effective leadership, and they either don't know, or care, what the reality is at ground level. The business strategy seems to have be based on thinking they have both remaining staff and remaining customers over a barrel and trying to get away with as much as they can while stripping the company to the bare minimum. The community and morale has been scorched and a great many of the people I loved working with and who made the company what it was are gone. On a technical level the company is a provincial backwater.
I'll stick with my new, more challenging and interesting (and not to mention better paid) job thanks. There is currently huge opportunity to be had in the worlds of both automotive and IT, it's a candidates' market so for anybody that's left don't be afraid to get yourselves out there and shop around, there are brighter futures out there. You don't owe any further loyalty to something that no longer exists.
RIP CDK.
I believe that former employees can apply for the support roles that are advertised and they would be looked on favourably.
Question is, would you want to come back to a S*** Storm
Can any of us redundant staff members apply?
Alvaston
It would appear they are advertising for support roles in Hungerford so that suggests the rumours are not true
yes we heard internally recruiting which seems bizarre given the amount of people hurt last year being made redundant.
Tom you are ****
Id--ts being senior management, not Support, just to clarify.
There's barely anybody left who knows how to look after the product as is, surely getting rid of the rest of Support would be an incompetency too far, even for these clueless id--ts?
It wasn’t as far as I’m aware, I was in all day yesterday and on the Townhall - nothing was mentioned about that, in fact the opposite.
Question again, when and where was this confirmed yesterday about the UK support staff gone by March?
I was one of the December leavers, and couldn't be happier. Plenty of work out there... Tom and his team really don't care for their staff, and all the hard work they put in over the years. Not pleasant to see the service go so bad to what were great customers and relationships.
It's all a load of bull yes support are losing their jobs as are all the account managers however no cheap jokes Simon. Hundreds of us are being made redundant not a funny matter.
Current staff moving to India increase in support in future will be in rupees
its true there is nothing further to sell as development has been put on hold and we are losing customers daily,
However that said, we the sales teams as still here and working for our customers.
Surely that's more bull than Fray Bentos....... I thought seeing Mike Hunt was the funniest thing I was going to see today
would you please refrain from swearing last comment.
they have nothing further to sell as very groups will remain with Keyloop come December.
Its signals the end of UK operations.
People are now just making things up. The comment below is not true. I get the frustration but at least moan about the truth and not fabricate bull****
Hungerford closing, all sales activity are moving to Hyderabad.
Current sales staff have the option to relocate or lose their role.
When was it confirmed about UK employees? I don't think it was and haven't heard anything
Remaining UK support staff to go by end of March, just been announced internally
I work for Pinewood and we have never been so busy, too many ex-CDK customers are wanting a reliable service with UK based staff.
We were once envious of Kerridge and its customer base, now we come this end year have the largest amount of UK customers in the DMS market.
It will only take one major group to jump ship to Pinewood and the stack of cards will start to tumble as the others will follow. Keyloop can’t buy Pinewood due to the overall UK market share that would mean it would get thrown out by competition and mergers law. If you treat your customers with this arrogant disrespectful approach don’t be surprised that they will correctly bite back. Maybe a fully feature rich ERP DMS is not as simple as a hairdressing booking APP but I’m still waiting for that penny to drop with FP and KLT. Fools!!! Many great people will go down on this shipwreck and have already done so, so sad 😞
