@4ez

What is Karen going to do that? Dow is a low margin commodity company. They are investing more in plastics which are low margin. Unless they spend money they don't have to diversify into high margin specialty markets, it's going to be a slow grind.

Now that Karen Carter is CEO, give it some time and you’re going to see this company really turn things around and be one of the most profitable and fast growing chemical companies in the world!

None of you actually know how this 55% applies to jobs at Dow. If you do please share. There are many levels of the transformation- many levels of improvements and cost cutting. . It’s crazy how people will continue to gossip without actual facts here just to push their agenda.

@t7 I hear you! I left the company last year and former coworkers keep trying to get me to come back. The conversation is always how bad everything is, how much they dislike Dow, then "when do you plan on coming back?".

Like never... Lol

Those poor people at LAO executing a major TAR must be anxious. "I know there are distractions but we have to focus on the task at hand. Be present for one another and perform observations. Btw, after a safe successful startup, we'll tell you if you have a job or not."

The abuse that Dow is doing to its employees by keeping this cr-p of not knowing who is being let go is very destructive. I really regret interning here and taking afull time role with Dow after almost a year of of watching people let go. I do not want to be with this company anymore that treats its employees this way. I should of never moved here

So you're saying only 55% of cuts have been made? No wonder there's rumors of a 3rd & 4th wave.
