Employees throughout the company are protesting the insane requirements over opening belk cards
Most employees are no longer encouraging customers to open or use this high interest card
It’s especially concerning that senior citizens are coerced and sometimes tricked into opening such a card

No I feel you. Upper management has to implement arbitrary goals to trickle down to store management who can then pass it on down to employees. Which are then gameified like McDonalds monopoly. It's always been nonsensical because you're harassing the few remaining in-store customers you have. But when they do meet those goals now management has a receipt to show we're "growing", not just subsisting on mushrooms in a forest. F belk
Belk needs competent leadership to survive
Belk needs synchrony bank to survive. The last thing you will hear is your store manager protesting against the Belk card. Managers/leads/and YOU are required to meet cc goals. The amount of time managers have to spend on calls talking about PACES is insane!
