The Art of Staying Teflon

Who are the Teflon's ? The one who always manage to dodge accountability by shifting responsibility onto others, while the rest of the team is left to pick up the pieces and work twice as hard to go unrecognized as always.

There’s an entire team under CDO called Infrastructure Operations that fits this description perfectly under the outstanding leadership of Marty, of course.

It’s sad to see so many people that have been let down by the company and no longer give a damn.

That was one of my gripes before I left OT earlier this year. On my team, I was doing a lot of extra work. Security reviews, CVE updates, builds, deployments, as well as my "day to day" of improvements to the product and supporting customers.
No thank yous. No extra pay. Not even an "atta boy" now and then. Nada.

Other members of my team were literally doing as little as possible (and not very well). No repercussions. No accountability. I was confused like, "Are they part of some good ol' boys network I don't know about?"

Anyway, happy to be out of the mess that is OT now.
I'm not sure how y'all are surviving every week with the question, "Is this the week I get laid off"
May the odds be ever in your favor.
