Looking to transition from Merrill to possible portfolio manager 1 position in the private bank. Does anyone know much about PB these days?

If you don’t have an established “network” then they won’t talk to you for any opportunity in the HNW segment. It’s all about the image.
The other option is the dead end Regional Offices that are a sweatshop.
I thought pb had largely been absorbed into Merrill at this point
