Pradman left a long line of mo--ns. Employees believed that these stooges who grew under Pradman would have learnt something about business. This was a primarily engineering organization with Pradman as single sales person. Enterprise grew due to few competent individuals who left long ago. What was left was glorified PMs (who carried Business owner designations or EVP or COO or SVP). None of them had field experiences and knew and grew up the ranks without having P&L responsibilities. On top of that these same guys fed koolaid to everyone that they are innocent sheep and the big bad wolf is Charlie. Charlie never intervened in their lives. Hamid gave them 5 years advanced notice to pull up the socks. If you were in the town hall, you would want to throw up at the false promises all including Ramesh made about the green pastures. Take DISD for instance. 20 years on, not a single poster child to show. Its always in pipeline and all of them just keep taking real estate of Hughes. Best window offices. Refresh your memories to pin point any business deal these guys did on their own. Don't bother to mention AERO as gogo business has been there since J2 and pradman days. All of them are glorified PMs. Employee's were alice in wonderland who believed what they were told and what they were sold. Knock any door and you will hear same story "what can we do when charlie took all our money" same koolaid ,fed from the top and spread faster than Covid. We don't have money for marketing because in this age we still send flyers out and we don't have that. When you see cost cutting happening beyond a quarter. Pray to those who still work there and have their head stuck like ostrich and drinking the same koolaid. One always wishes that hughes turnarounds but when you look at who is leading that, you should throw your hands up in the air and say, good heavens we are doomed. Ever wondered why one Mr. Satish did not take up the job and hand it off to Ramesh. Something to think about.

@10f agreed. He yells and drops f-bombs imagining that’s going to give him respect. He is not C level material and unprofessional. He kissed the corrupt, not-so-bright, incompetent Bahram’s rear end to get himself from engineer- salesman to where he is. Then managed an incompetent sales team as general manager of international. If he’s in charge he will run the company into the ground, where it’s headed anyway. What a circus.

Ramesh was a bad choice. Very very bad. He’s is an incompetent, Charlie Ergen kissarse. Expect further turmoil for the remaining Hughes employees.

This was written on the wall for long time. I do not know why people are surprised. Enterprise business will be impacted bigtime because of 5G.
