The new CMO has been in office over 100 days now and I have heard a rumor or 2 that a re org in coming. Anyone else heard this or is it just an “every new leader does this so he will do it too” type of rumor?

Let me put it this way, if I had a dollar for every time MKG leadership solemnly declared, "Nothing will change after we get a new leader," only for everything to immediately change, including the new merchandise with a fresh, exciting name slapped on the quarter zips, I’d be calling in from my private Hawaiian mansion, sipping piña coladas at noon and admiring my collection of commemorative company merch. And if you’re playing leadership Word Bingo, prepare to black out your card with "we are so excited" before the first slide deck even loads. The one thing that never fails to change is the money spent on merchandise: t-shirts and quarter-zips. Sometimes it seems like the real business plan is simply to rebrand the wardrobe. ;o)
