@d2 is right on the main points. They might have been trolling saying it’s up in Flagscape. But the non consecutive 3 full day notice is coming out tomorrow. Details on what full means will be shared on training on Thursday. Buckle up everyone this he@@hole is just going to get a whole lot worse! We should all do a mass boycott of this stupid rule

@d2 I checked Flagscape and I did not find any info on WPE update. Are you a troll working for this forum to gain clicks? This is serious cr-p and we do not need false info stirring up the pot. Provide factual proof of update or this whole thread is a joke.

@d8 My retirement was planned earlier this year for other reasons. Regardless, the WPE update bites the big one as it does nothing for morale especially mine. However, the bean counters will look at my retirement as a success for driving me out the company.

Most people leave to pick up their kids from school and this was pre covid. Like what's the purpose of all this

If this is true I see a lot of early retirements happening.

I’m trying to understand what makes folks sitting in an office have to adhere to a different policy than folks that do not. I’ve known some people to have an office due to workplace accommodations but their job role isn’t any different than their peers that are sitting in the cubicles right down the hall. This seems almost discriminatory because someone has an alternate seat.

What if someone comes in and leaves sick a few hours early? Do they need to come in another day cuz that day will not count as a full day?

@d0 Instead of tracking via VPN, the network folks should ensure VPN is available without any loss of connections first - both in office and WFH. Lack of priorities are costing BAC money with loss of transactions due to disconnects and batch processes being repeated. Nothing like clocking on the screen with myself whispering profanity about a company making $9.1B last quarter. I can hear some of my cube neighbors doing the same. Don't get me started on M365...

Live on Flagscape

Main points:

  • Workplace Excellence policy is being updated based on employee feedback, business needs, and industry trends.
  • Flexible work locations will continue for eligible roles, but requirements are becoming stricter.
  • Managers are responsible for ensuring employees understand and follow the policy.
  • Managers are expected to take action if employees do not comply, including disciplinary action up to termination.
  • Full in-office day required: Partial days in the office do not count toward in-office requirements.
  • No two consecutive work-from-home days: Employees cannot work from home on back-to-back business days (including Friday and the following Monday).
  • New hires: Must work in the office at least 4 days per week during their first 6 months.
  • Employees with assigned private offices: Must work in the office at least 4 days per week on an ongoing basis.
  • Additional required training will be assigned to employees.
  • These updates are in addition to existing in-office requirements based on role and line of business.
