Clearly however they are doing benchmarking is corrupt and flawed. Every year the executives pay themselves more while cutting employee compensation. The gap between executive and employee compensation just grows larger and larger every year. Now as other companies pay employee bonuses Exxon continues to cut cut cut your compensation while increasing their executive pay. Greed and corruption.

Incentives are not right. It is done by third parties. What do you think happens if they come up with an answer th executives do not like? Clearly it is not an impartial process.
The process is fine. It’s the assumptions that HR are giving to the process owners to make the benchmarking skewed and flawed. HR role is to pay the minimum to get the capability. They don’t care where, how but only how much. Our Leaders want the headcount reduction and want people to leave
