Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Why is all of LNG team moving to JERA?

Seems like we are losing so many people to JERA and some very senior people too. What’s up with this esp as the LNG business is supposed to be a key area for XOM

JERA hire capable, experienced talent and pay accordingly. Our LNG business is burdened with the leftovers of LCS and a parking lot for downstream headcount.

Unless you pay for the results, people will find better places to work, especially the talented ones.
