@a7 Go back to your military job.
What if I do not adopt it? What will they do ?
Another waist of time but job security for GTS.
Basically it’s a control thing. A specific group is formed to make all the MCP tools and AI flows. Then the order is you must use those platforms and tools instead of building your own. This way leadership can suffocate any innovation and have only a handful of people to interface with for all things AI. It is basically centralized command over decentralized command. Decentralized command always outperforms centralized command if you simply give your staff the latitude to build whatever they need and the access to do so. Instead for political reasons and just general control. GTS prefers centralized command, where a few people are the face of everything and everyone else is just there to take orders. That is a large reason why the C-Suite is interested in outsourcing the whole SDLC it is cost savings but it also moves all of this political nonsense off to be an agencies problem. At that point the VZ leadership can be the face of the delivery but just bark orders at the consultants. Which is the way it’s always been but now they can have it that way legally and on paper.
