Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

CASE

With case work expanding soon to only proactive work, will there be enough work to go around and will there be any RIF / layoffs in case?? Anyone with insight please share.

Most likely you all will get put back on the phones. Making case management proactive, doesn't even make sense when your work is contingent on being reactive to frontline's needs. There are other offline teams that are doing niche proactive work. I don't see a place for you all and if there was your AVP would have something better to tell you than you need to be more proactive in getting work, thar requires people to contact you in the first place.

@a9 Same. People forget that there are a lot departments with a lot parts and none of them are known or spoken about even within relevant departments. A little bit of detail goes a long way to helping everyone understand the message. A foreign concept for Verizon but almost everyone here should already know how that plays out and try to avoid it. Without exposing too much identifies the person posting of course.
