Are we thinking a big announcement or just quiet cuts? My org has hired quite a few in the last quarter, so confused what’s going on here. Not convinced they’ll be doing any major LRs as of now.

@d8 Yes. You’ll be an employee until October (in the USA), so you’ll get your bonus.
@d8 no, and that all is part of the calculus on how they decide who to cut. if you're expensive, your presence needs to be justified. if your manager is pushing for your raise or promotion, that makes you more of a target.

When the let people go in August are they still entitled to their yearly bonus in September?
No, this time has no company wide LR, but some re-org will impact someone in VP and Director Positions.
Ive got a bad feeling about this one. One of our managers took off all last week and another was super quiet which is weird for him. Almost like they know some bad news is coming and needed a break. It has to be tiring giving the same speech after each LR and trying to gloss over how messed up it is. They cut people and then two quarters later theres new remote ones less qualified who everyone has to help get up to speed.
C always does LRs at the end of their FY beginning of next FY this is the time
