I definitely understand the skepticism because after my director told me that i thought the same thing like yeah I'll believe it when I see it. I really hope it is true though because some stores have more backroom space than others and since Jeremy "I love yachts" Gosch doesn't want trailers at stores they better do something.
We’ll see if it actually happens. They’ve said for years the allocations were going away. Stops for a little while then it’s back to shipping close dated product to the stores at full cost.
Yes it is true. I had a meeting with my store director a few days ago and he told me that very soon the stores will have power to say what they want to buy rather than it being forced shipped on the store but that corporate needed to rework current agreements with suppliers. My guess is it will start sometime after the new fiscal year starts. It should help the stores be more profitable by controlling inventory.
