Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Historically speaking, the second major layoff of the year

Is always in November, a week or two before thanksgiving. It’ll happen between now and then.

Why do investors see a company do a bunch of hiring that they claim they now don't need, as a reason to back them? I mean, isn't that a clear sign of incompetence?

I mean, it takes the same intelligence level to think Nvidia and the other bubble-makers are a good idea to invest in. Love how we are all tied to the greediest in the country, willing to do any sort of corrupt BS.

What a joke. Design lead boasted that there were no layoffs in design. I bet that changes this fall.

George and his team don't care about employees. Their job is to push the stock price up for investors and themselves by any means. It is dishonorable to have layoffs right before a holiday.
