Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Completely agree with Takis on accountability— especially understaffing

We need to hold accountable those who overload understaffed groups with impossible timelines and workloads. Let’s make it happen people

Is this your first year at Fiserv? I remember back when I thought layoffs were performance based too. Can't wait until you see it for yourself when your team gets hit.

@1e8 you are kinda stupid, isn’t? You’re really not thinking this through. Those layoffs were because the teams weren’t performing, and pretending that applies to the CR teams is just you talking nonsense.

Takis needs a hard look at FIG. He needs to look beyond his segment leaders - are they right people? Which VP, SVP left in last 12 months ... especially with knowledge and tenure and understand WHY they left. The people still there are THE PROBLEM! The people that left had options and left because they could not deal with the nonsense. Sad to see FIG shrinking. It never was a 10% growth business, but it was not negative either. 4-5% is goal and I don't see a path with current people in place

How about rehire all the experience you lost from layoffs. And stop relying on dopes over in India and Costa Rica

@cz Fiserv seriously needs to investigate DW!! I know leaders who worked with him left because they didn’t want to work for him. More are looking hard!! CU was making progress.. and then he came along. He is not a good leader or person.

I learned a long time ago that there’s no penalty for failure. They will fire you only when they’re told to cut a certain percentage. They won’t fire you for missing an artificial deadline. They won’t give you a raise regardless.

Interesting! Wonder if those clowns ever even bother running a retrospective in Clover’s famous 100-day program. Let’s show the company how to work employees straight to death!

Who is holding DW accountable for all these years?!? Hard to believe the system works when he is walking the halls still
