Restructure already happening and people have been let go across multiple depts

After each cycle, leadership will say 'there will be no more layoffs in the foreseeable future' yet the layoffs will continue at an increasing cadence. Don't put yourself in denial. Particularly if you haven't been with the company long enough for a substantial severance or if you are a sole provider for dependents. Also read the separation policy carefully and track changes that WILL dilute what you are eligible for over time.
Same stuff happened after the Arbitron acquisition was announced. These are the pre-layoff layoffs.
