If you are not outstanding or excellent then did you know you are not considered regretted attrition when you quit? They do not care about or invest in anyone who is not sponsored. If you are outstanding or excellent now and have no sponsor just know it will not last. Also what happens when your sponsor leaves? Look around and learn. There is no future here. It is not a meritocracy.

Always make sure that you are grooming the next up sponsor(s) when your sponsor retires or resigns.
This is not correct. Regretted attrition is anyone not in NI or NSI with 5 yrs.
There is a special exit survey a supervisor has to fill out if a direct report leaves after being assessed as O - but that’s more than regretted.
Key part is no sponsor means no future. Nothing else matters. Oh and if your sponsor retires or leaves you are also sc--wed.
