Any insight as to how many CCs are expected to be let go in the next few months? It feels like doom and gloom over here - not "if" but "when"...

@ea Couldn’t you still work a role that is CST? My current role is EST but I live in the central time zone. I just adjust accordingly.
@dg and most of the available roles are asking for RNs. There are very minimal roles for PT/OT/ST disciplines which makes things more nerve wracking. Dreading the next few months.
@dt I am a CC in SC and my caseload is primarily Humana. I would love to know our fate , sooner or later. And EST time roles with the company are scarce.

I anticipate layoffs - I happily would volunteer. I anticipate we will find out our fate in October. Thinking the home health crew was given 60 days or 90 days notice when they all got chopped if I remember correctly. Alot of UR roles elsewhere in company are CST too and not great hours for those of us living in EST. Also don't forget Global has been doing UHC predict closures. Any thoughts if global would just take over UHC all together?
@by Home and Community CC’s are care coordinators- usually RN, PT, OT or ST. Since losing the Humana contract- it affects caseload volume and productivity. They manage UHC members in skilled facility settings. And because there is no large contract pending to replace Humana- it is assumed jobs will be lost or CC’s will be transitioned elsewhere. The available jobs are scarce for roles these CC’s could step into- so a concern is valid.
