Coffee badgers open themselves up to potential termination for cause which is not a great position to put yourself in. It’s no different than someone who fudges a little bit on their expense report. The argument, “everyone does it so they won’t fire me.” Is d-mb d-mb d-mb. They can fire you for cause and it doesn’t matter if everyone does it or if 10 senior directors do it more often than you do. Don’t give them the rope to hang you with. It’s not worth it. I’ve seen people terminated for a few illegitimate items on their expense report. The expense report wasn’t the reason they wanted to fire them, but it was the perfect reason that gave them a bullet proof reason to terminate….for cause.

It'd be absolute torture to spend any time around a simpleton like you. Hence, we are in and out, playing the game.
This again? If you can find a fully remote job somewhere else that pays enough, fantastic! Otherwise, staying employed by coming in three days and staying past lunch is not that hard.
