Can they legally require you to report to work if asbestos and mold are found in the building?

I work at One Boston Place and am impacted by the sudden site closure due to debris from the renovations. My manager said on today's scrum meeting that we may have to come into work in two weeks and recommended that we buy N95 masks because he was unsure if they would be provided

Yes, this is also the base version of the health plan for 2027 - rawdogging mold and asbestos exposure. If you move up to silver they'll give you one N95 and a free bagel.

Take plenty of pictures as evidence. If it were me, I wouldn't even think about going to work until these issues are mitigated. Lung cancer from asbestos is a horrible way to die.

Yes, they can. Mold is everywhere and asbestos is only dangerous when it's airborne.
