I read this as there are billions available to settle with the people who they fired unjustly in 2022. It wouldn't even take billions, several hundred million at most. That would be good PR for them in view of what's come to light now.
I'm not sure the DOJ or Treasury will allow a German Telecom to 100% own a US Security asset as big as T-Mobile
