Thread regarding Fannie Mae layoffs

Was there any official announcement?

Any of you got an email with official statement? Since these were group leaders, you would think some communication would follow.

Nope. No communication at all. I only found out by reading the story in the WSJ.

Apparently, ‘no disclosure, no communication, and no explanation’ is the new Fannie Mae. Conveniently, it makes life very easy for those determined to protect their favorite yes-boss, good-for-nothing resources, while putting the people who actually do the work on the chopping block. And the best part? Nobody has to explain anything anymore. Just say, ‘It came from higher up’—apparently that’s the new gold standard for accountability.”

Probably no notifications yet cause the bloodbath continues. Otherwise the mid-et in charge of fhfa and here would be screaming about how he's reducing stuff on his na-i-twitter account.

I haven’t gotten any specific info yet. Who was included this time?

Gone are the days of transparency when we used to get weekly list of employees joining and leaving the company.

They barely announce anything anymore, unless its to brag how great and valuable everyone is there.

You would think they'd tell us something, but we don't have leadership that thinks anymore.

That’s so cute that you think there would be a communication.
