Upcoming Contract Renewals

I'm getting a lot of non-answers about whether my contract is extending after September or not. Curious about others in similar situations.

My boss' boss told them it was "highly likely," but with all of the—everything—lately, I'll believe it when I see it.

Sounding like the powers that can't commit yet to who's staying after the move I'm getting a lot of non-answers about whether my contract is extending after September or not. Curious about others in similar situations.

Sounding like the powers that can't commit yet to who's staying after the move ¯_(ツ)_/¯

If you're not getting confirmation of renewal, don't be blind to the obvious. If they wanted you, they'd be saying so. They're just not that
into you. Line something else up.

Any contractors that have been here for many years and are top earners in their area are being scrutinized. Extensions are still happening but require justifications now.

Someone on Glassdoor said they heard contractors were getting to shift to fully remote.

yep, told the same in a staff meeting. As of right now, they're not renewing most contracts. There are exceptions of course.
